Remember the first time you heard this?
For me it was the UK Stiff single and I played it over and over marveling at how different it sounded from the material on My Aim Is True.
Too bad the green one is still down, I have a great 17 version compilation I wanted to share.

Don't remember first hearing, but do remember first buying this epic Stiff - in a record shop (remember them?) in Colwyn Bay.

Knew Detectives from 1977 but was transported by Bruce's solo and the way the band fell away behind him on my AF Hollywood High freebie EP . I've seen it as least 80 times live now lol
