It seems there may be a cd release in September -

Elvis did this song a few times in September 2011, around, perhaps, the time he recorded this version.

The performance of the song "Quiet About It" was recorded at Bowery Hotel, NYC during the approach of Hurricane Irene. All the additional instruments were recorded by Costello at Armoury Studio, Vancouver."
Hurricane Irene reached New York on August 28, 2011.

Google produces this tweet from August 27:
Elvis Costello harbouring in the Bowery Hotel. Saw him on the bowery. Knew he wern't heading for Sunshine mission.

I just have to comment that Sky Arts 1 showed the Spectacle episode with Jesse, and of course the mighty Ron S, again the other night, and Sham-a-Ling-Dang-Dong or whatever the exact title is just blew me away. His voice! The serenity of it all. Blissful stuff, and a modest character with it.

Sham-a-ling-dong-ding is the title and that performance is just magic, every time I play it I get the same shiver through my entire body.

EC has done a few covers of Jesse over the years including Third Rate Romance all the way back in Flip City.
