Flip City

Post by Jackson Monk »

Last week I downloaded the Flip City demo and realised why I fell in love with EC's music all those years ago. Surprisingly excellent....

Well, I hadn't hoped for much because they rarely get mentioned and I thought the quality of the recordings would be poor. That's why I was surprised. Cracking stuff.

Love Our Aim Is True. Absolutely the best EC bootleg ever. Still have the vinyl album.

You should check out the Flip City Compilation that surfaced about 3 years ago. It has the Demos (strangely the boots have a reverse stereo image of these recordings, not sure which ones are correct) as well as a live show from The Red Cow London Nov. 30, 1975. A whole lot of fun.
