Damn! That's one fantastic 50th birthday party. A four hour sound check?! I would have been there for that as well if I was paying the band. And where was ba with the cassette recorder, anyway?

Blimey, this is fascinating. I read somewhere that that's what established artists do these days, now that record sales are as rare as rocking-horse shit. Why not? He's a professional.

in a room like that doc, my SONY would have been ACES! i was gonna invite him to my 50th two years back. would love to see the setlist, especially from the four hour soundcheck...DAMN!!
