Any luck, Craig?

Second one sounds brighter, more treble, less muffled than the second one (to my ears).

Huh? The second one sounds better than the second one? Which sounds better to you?

I haven't done a really close comparison yet, but I think I agree with Doc, though I seem to think the second one has a little more audience interference.

I'll weigh in with my 2 bits. I agree with the last couple of comments. They are really close in sound quality and I don't think you could go wrong with either one. But, If I had to choose one, I'd go with the second source.

Since you put me down, it seems i've been very gloomy. You may laugh but pretty girls look right through me.

I like the Brilliant Mistake video. It's looks like a vintage Polaroid w/ that tinge of yellow. Sort of cool.

Is it me or is EC "mailing it in" with these shows? It seems that the Spinning shows have had relatively good set lists but poor energy. The cage and bar get more of a reaction out of the crowds than the songs. For instance, "You Bowed Down" was like watching a 3rd grade Christmas play. The audience reaction was louder for the "tool" in the cage versus hearing a really good tune.

I haven't seen any of these shows live. So please take it for what it's worth.

No. The Wheel shows have the highest energy of any EC shows I've attended in the past 10 years. Nice assumption but. . . wrong!

Great clip. That's from the second source, right?

Yes. Fantastic sound mix isn't it? Steve's keys are right there.

Good Review from there:

http://www.nashvillescene.com/nashville ... yman-92511

I like the last line ..."making the show’s 135 minutes feel as though they passed in one enormous, 15-minute burst of joy."
pretty much sums it up...great show!

I know envy is a bad thing. But examining the other set lists on the tour, I can't help but wish we could have seen:

Sleep of the Just
Town Cryer
I Still Have That Other Girl
Purple Rain

ah....maybe next time
