I thought he did ones for 'Down Among The Wine And Spirits' and 'Sulphur To Sugarcane'. (Well, not music videos in the strictest sense of miming along to the studio recording, but he did solo acoustic performances of two songs from Secret, Profane & Sugarcane in a white room in promotion of the album...)

I read in the newspaper today that hackers had put porn videos on Sesame Street channel yesterday.

It's never too early to get the young'uns comfortable with the idea that at some point between the ages of 15 and 20 a significant other will most likely instill in them a lesson in absolutely brutal heartbreak.

So when some folks in The Times' office squealed with joy at the sight of Elvis Costello singing along wtih Elmo, it seemed like a fine time to applaud "Sesame Street" for easing kids into what will surely be an inevitable cynicism toward love by rewriting Costello's she-left-me-for-another-man staple "(The Angels Wanna Wear My) Red Shoes" into "Monster Went and Ate My Red 2."

There are furry puppets and missing numbers instead of girls and their lame boyfriends, and the "Sesame Street" tune ends on a rather upbeat note. But just because there's a giant No. 2 that's on the loose, the metaphor still comes across loud and clear. It's about girls, right?

Elvis Presley's Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich

Ingredients
2 slices of white bread
2 tablespoons of smooth peanut butter
1 small ripe banana mashed
2 tablespoons butter

Instructions
Spread the peanut butter on one slice of bread and the mashed banana on the other. Press the slices gently together. Melt the butter (or to be truly Elvis-like, melt bacon fat!), over low heat in a small frying pan. Place the sandwich in the pan and fry until golden brown on both sides. Eat it with a glass of buttermilk.

Please note: Elvis tended to eat 12-15 sandwiches a sitting! So belly up!
