I'm sure I will attend the DC and Durham shows (even though DPAC is a no-fun-allowed sort of place).

Sweet! Three Florida shows - including two in south Florida, where he hasn't played in years. I was hoping he bring the Spinning Songbook down here.

I think I'll avoid the one at the Hollywood Seminole Casino. I'll probably go to the show at Ruth Eckerd Hall. So excited. Any tips on being picked to go onstage?

good on you stranger...screw it, go to all three shows unless hollywood is too far for you. as for advice: be a young, pretty girl, have a boob job, be a youngster, or a friend of a friend. DON'T GO in a dungaree jacket with a SONY recorder hanging out of your pocket!!!

Good advice ba

The only thing I would add is to maybe wear a t shirt that says "My name is Alison".

I would also add it cannot hurt to be excessively fawning- you apparently cannot be in awe of the man enough for entre to the stage! Dancing talent is also apparently not needed, too!

This report on the new dates, from Digunderrock.com http://digunderrock.com/?p=1659 with a focus on South Florida is the standard press release but includes the closing line:
Look out for further “Revolver Tour” announcements.
Do they know something we don't?

Not really. That line has always been there on the official announcement of these dates.

I meant to say any tips besides being a young pretty girl. I still like the idea of the Alison t-shirt or maybe I can finally use the Momofuku stencil.

I wish I could go to all three, Hollywood and Clearwater are closer, but the week after this concert I'll be going to Jacksonville (a five hour drive) to see Fleet Foxes and the Walkmen so I'll already be over my budget for the month. I got tickets in row J for Clearwater and I can't wait.

I won't, it might not be a hi-tech recorder (just the standard digital recorders we have in the newsroom) but I definitely plan on recording the show.

Picked up tix for the Durham show. DPAC is a great venue for sound and sight lines. I've seen Wilco, Ben Folds, and a number of Broadway shows there.

I just bought tickets for the Durham gig as well. As I stated before, I find the venue to be a bit stuffy but the sound is great (caught Neil Young's show there in April).
