Here's the big one. These 2 are my favourite EC albums and so I feel quite smug. Having said that, I have to think very carefully which will get the vote. :? :?

I voted for Imperial Bedroom. Love "Get Happy" but IB was more ambitious and lived up to those ambitions. Still, GH has always been a darkhorse favorite for EC's best, so an upset is still possible -- especially since I'm only the second person's who's voted! (Don't wanna act like CNN and call this one early!)

This is going to take some thinking.... my first instinct is to vote for Imperial Bedroom simply because of the line "You drink yourself insensitive and hate yourself in the morning." But Get Happy!! is like the essential good time album.

In many ways I guess the two albums are polar opposites.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

it's hard to go wrong with/on either

In the end I went with Imperial Bedroom. I think I have more of an emotional attatchment with it than I do with Get Happy!!, though I can't imagine living without either of them.
