What a difference 5 years makes. After coming up with a noncommercial and unconventional MTV Unplugged, Elvis is back on VH1 (part of the MTV/Viacom network) with an easily approachable but highly enjoyable show with my favorite accompanist Steve Nieve.

This amazing, I'm almost finished watching it and it's been interesting to hear how little he really says about each song.

I was thinking about that. Even his so-called simple version of the lyric is confusing as hell, and he makes it sound so matter-of-fact regarding the relationship he's describing. That was fascinating.
