it was fabulous. no banjos. i forgive Elvis for everything. i don't know that it was the best i ever saw him, but he was sick the last 2 times, so it was great to hear him in fine voice. for 2:45 minutes. 36 song set. the highlights included Turpentine, the This Wheel's on Fire/River in Reverse, etc stuff which he seemed very excited to play, finally getting to hear Riot Act live, and of course Eddie (no uke)walking on stage. how he made it back to the Fox in time to get on stage is impressive. Elvis is about 2/3rds the size we last saw him, sweating through the whole suit and never wavering. it is chaos up there, but a lot of fun. good choice not to try and pull out I Want You at the end for this essentially gaggle of large bar patrons. a lot of old people, so I like that. fun to hear Green Shirt too.
