Elvis should play SKA!

Post by manoutoftime »

Would love to hear a Elvis SKA album!
Only came across this - Tears for Fears before they were TFF responding to comments from Elvis back in the day that all SKA bands were one hit wonders (funny that as he went on to produce The Specials).
That guitar riff sounds familiar!
Needless to say it didn't chart.

I think quite a lot of 'Get Happy' has a ska feel - Man Called Uncle, I Can't Stand Up, I Stand Accused, Human Touch, Opportunity... they've all got that kinda ska vibe, as do some of the out-takes.

Awful stuff, reminds me of why I hated Tears For Fears so much.
Nothing they did was ever as good as this.
