"The highly-anticipated Stephen King and John Mellencamp collaborative musical 'Ghost Brothers of Darkland County' has reportedly announced preliminary casting. The musical is expected to premiere at Georgia's Alliance Theatre in Atlanta during September 2010.
Once the show opens, a 3 CD recording of the musical performance in September will be made available, along with a 2 disc recording of the complete show and a 3rd disc of all the songs done as studio tracks. The tracks will be produced by T Bone Burnett."
According to reports, King himself will make an apperance in the musical. Other reported cast members include Mellencamp, Sheryl Crow, Elvis Costello, Neko Case, Kris Kristofferson, Roseanne Cash and boxer Joe Frazier. "
