Elvis 'autumn gigs with The Imposters'

Post by johnfoyle »

With 378 tickets still available for Elvis' Birmingham show with The Brodskys , the Birmingham Post has re-published it's March 16th feature with a few new quotes from Elvis , including this -

(extract)

'For Costello it’s variety, quantity and quality, with a new album The Secret, The Profane and Sugar Cane due out later this year, autumn gigs with The Imposters, a date with Al Green in Memphis following the April UK concerts – and toddler twins Dexter and Frank to keep an eye on.'

I bet the sentence actually read "autumn gigs with The Imposters but not for anyone in England."

I'm ok with that, as I'll be in So. Cal then!!!

Unless he knows I'm from England and that will keep him from playing then?

How could he know?

Though he does seem to go out of his way to do this each time we travel back to California!

I bet he's playing Carlisle for the first time in donkey's years....like the day after we leave.

Though, I don't know where he'd play at?

My living room?

Town centre? (Notice the English spelling folks - I'm 1/2 British now! - or Amerish if you'd like) :)
