It seems like these presales are bullshit. They don't have the best seats for sale. They are Orch (best I saw was row X or Loge which is a balcony. What happened to seats in the first...lets say...ten rows?

We actually managed to get pretty good seats on the Ryman presale, but it's a much much smaller venue. . .

I dunno. I got seats in the loge. That's not bad at the Beacon from what I recall.

Can't wait to see what it looks like now since the renovation. Last time I was there it was pretty run down.

We have seats front row in the loge at the Beacon. The loge IS the best! (That coming from one vertically challenged individual....haha) Of course, the first few rows in the orchestra are pretty sweet too!
Elvis, in June, in the Big Apple.....it'll be great fun :D

If anyone wants a single in the front row of the loge (seat A-1, right off the center), e-mail me. I agree they are very nice seats for balcony but I want to sit down in the crowd this time. Selling for regualr price.

I am in row B in Orch..not bad...did you guys see the Rolling Stone article about where all the good seats go? very interesting...I have noticed they are hard to come by...even if you are a friend of something, a fan of someone, or even front of the line at a venue (did that once at the Tower and didn't get great seats)...I do understand season ticket holders getting preference at a venue they spend alot for season tickets (they sit through a lot of games..good and bad)

another awesome night at the BEACON! 2 hours into the show, a security girl approached me saying "you're not recording right? we have security near the stage watching you. you'll be thrown out!" i shook my head "NO" and never turned SONY off. ah, the bronxapostle still got it! COOL!

Great show. We were center of the first balcony/loge. My favorites:

Femme Fatale
I Felt the Chill
Blame It On Cain
Everyday I Write the Book (love this arrangement)
Red Shoes
Red Cotton
Sulphur to Sugarcane
All the KoA stuff

Great Alison and a nice surprise at the end with Friend of the Devil. Crowd was great - no RAWK!!!ers - and Elvis seemed to be having a good time. Lovely dobro from Jerry Douglas and good harmonies from Jim Lauderdale. Two drinks, a nice dinner and a great concert with my wife = perfect evening.

Still not a big fan of She Handed Me a Mirror. Easily the weakest song of the evening. It lacks any sort of compelling melody.

The renovated Beacon is lovely.

Wow, BA! Nice going!
I guess we were just down the row from you--front row loge on the far right.

That show was so incredibly, mind-blowingly awesome! Elvis really brought the goods! The crowd was on fire! The band was amazing! The restored Beacon looked fantastic! Holy shit! What a great night!

The new songs got a really warm reception and that version of Everyday I write the Book was absolute genius. And wow! I got to hear so many songs I thought I'd never have the opportunity to hear live! What a treat! Dang!

First time I've seen scalpers asking for spares on the way in. EC seemed pleased about the fact that the album was doing so well on the charts - mentioned it early on.

yeah, he said it actually entered the charts at #13 in billboards top 200....impressive indeed. wish they sold the vinyl at the merch table. spoke to robbie before the show. he said a couple imposters festival gigs for U.S. coming this summer also. and i told him to tell E that benny said...BRILLIANT DISGUISE (bruce) would be great with this band!

Brilliant - I love the fact that people (like myself) still brazen it out to record shows - I nearly wet myself when Elvis came off the stage during CCIU at Liverpool last year and walked up to 5 feet away from me ! Did he spot the mike ? Who cares, I didn't get thrown out !
Looking forward to hearing a proper Costello concert from this year
