Didn't the Singles Vol. 1 CD box set have the original mix?
( I can't remember, off hand...)

My 7" BUY 11 single has (or "had", since I sold it several years ago) exactly the same mix as the CD. I know, because I ripped them both and mixed them together, the vinyl version in left channel and the CD version in the right . And I could hear no difference in the mixes.
The only place I found the organ mix is on the vinyl LP "A Bunch Of Stiff Records".
The "Singles" box set has the same version as the MAIT full-length CD's. And I think that's the correct choise.

Stiff BUY 11 with "LYN-7473" etched in the runoff is the organ mix.

Yeah -- I just listened to it. You're correct.ulfg wrote:The "Singles" box set has the same version as the MAIT full-length CD's.
I got confused.
The B-side, Radio Sweetheart, is the original mix -- which had changed starting with Taking Liberties/10 Bloody Marys.
(Can't remember if the original mix has been reinstated in any of the re-issues...)
