This will be the warm up show for their appearance at the VIBE FOR PHILO a few days later in Dublin. And monkeys will fly out of my arse. Seriously, maybe this will be a warm up for a recording session with a new rockin' album out in the spring, putting the lie to all this bollix about not recording again. You read it here first.

Look forward to seeing those monkeys Martin

I think Elvis has got the bug back now and a new album will be out with the Imposters next year.

I wonder which corporate will sponsor the tour...

Oy, I'm almost literally having physical pain because I can't go. Apparently, we don't have the money, as usual. And I'd have to shanghai someone else into going with me. This time I'll be of age, unlike that Electric Factory show back in, like, March or April, but grrrrrrr. I might try as a combo birthday/Christmas present.
Why don't you write about it in your blag?

hope it is TWO SETS like 1981 at THE PALLADIUM!!!!!!!!!!! 44 songs that night AND a STEVE interlude before midnight!!! maybe a guest (the mrs. gotta be there) or two (BRUCE!) in AC. should be a classic night indeed!

BA maybe you will finally get to see EC and Bruce together.

With the show starting at 10 playing through midnight seems to be a lock

Wow, this is tempting, but how do I convince the wife and how do I line up babysitting on New Year's Eve? Not happening, I'm afraid.

We'll look after them Sam. FOR FREE. I'll be staying in this year what with our new arrival. Drop your kids off early evening and pick them up after the show.

I suspect there may be some logistical difficulties here

But Sam, you gotta go man. Sure it'll cost a fortune but you'll only be thinking about it on New Year's Eve if you don't go.

Well, I just can't let this show pass by. I bought a ticket last night on the pre sale link in above post. I got all my travel squared away and will be with EC in AC!!

I am going to be in Louisville with family, then flying to Philly and sending my sons back to Dallas. Catch a ride to A.C., then back to Dallas on Jan 1.

Hope to meet with other people here who are going. This is going to be MAJOR!

My Elvis weinie is going crazy! And yet tonight, I am going to catch Oliver's Army for some live EC. Cheers!

WSS - I read your post on the other thread.

I hope you get there. Perhaps you'd better buy a couple of "proper" price tickets just in case.

Yep, I have done so, just in case. In any case, I managed to find a decent hotel room and we are going.

I would love to go but even if we had not had the baby I think Mrs VG would have had something to say about such a suggestion

Good luck.

Ah, Ticketbastard has has canceled the "freebie" tickets without so much as notifying me. Good thing I went ahead and purchased tickets through the EC home page as backup plan. It will cost more than I would like to have paid, but I expect this show will be well worth it.

Yeah I know. Was worth a shot. I got the free iTunes downloads, so at least I got something out of it.
