If you're using an Intel Mac, you need to open Safari with Rosetta, using these instructions:
Here's how you can force a Universal application to open using Rosetta:

Click the application's icon in the Finder, such as Safari's icon.
From the Finder File menu, choose Get Info (or press Command-I).
Select the checkbox named "Open using Rosetta."
Close the Get Info window.

Now, when you double-click the application, it will open with Rosetta, and any non-Universal plug-ins should work.
(After you download the bonus content, you can change the setting back.)

Thanks for that although I was using safari, I'm afraid my notebook is three years old, the fault seemed to be with the actual player download, never mind I'll try again later .

Try Firefox? My work email programme doesn't work at all on Safari, but I tried it on Firefox and it works a treat, the same as on a PC. Maybe the same would apply here?

Agreed. Does anyone know what it is? I'm too stingy to buy an album full of songs I already own on the good faith that the bonus material will be worth it.
Why don't you write about it in your blag?

You don't need to buy anything to access the list of bonus material. (But you won't be able to download it.)

It's not that exciting:
• Exclusive podcast ROCKLINE INTERVIEW WITH ELVIS COSTELLO AND BOB COBURN FROM 1982
• Elvis Costello Wallpaper and AIM Icon Downloads

Thanks. Being short on computer savvy, I did actually try to search, but came up empty. That does sound fairly boring, but I can think of a lot of worse uses for eleven bucks and change.
