I know you guys have probably seen it, but I thought I'd post it anyway.

Thanks for that, I haven't seen it since the original broadcast. It was interesting to see the look of complete rapture on presenter Kirsty Young's face during Shipbuilding.

Elvis doing Oliver's Army on the Kenny Everett show. Possibly the most over the top example of the wired-up geek routine ever, and with a proto-mullet. Ludicrous backdrop too.

I love Fiona's vocals on "I Want You". As good as EC's, but in a different way.

Elvis goes cockney in the middle of these two performances from the Peter Cook show. Creases me up the way he switches accents like underpants. The guy is a chameleon. Great performances though....the Atttractions at theit best.

See Elvis doing the soft shoe shuffle....hysterical 1983 dancing from our man.

Pretty good actually...

I remember reading that EC had written Complicated Shadows for him, but he rejected it.

Two more wonderful Top Of The Pops performances:-

From 01/09/1977, Elvis' 2nd ever TV appearance. Notice the unusual backing tape mimed to on this promotion for The Angels Wanna Wear My Red Shoes:-

From 24/05/1979, a fetching pink suit for Accidents Will Happen:-

Post by jsharris23@yahoo.com »

Pads, Paws, and Claws was great and brought back a lot of memories. Thanks for posting. I have always been looking for "It's Time" EC did acoustic. I have it on VCR somewhere, but always thought it was great.

"When I was Cruel"..good stuff!...and he had the courtesy to wear a stocking cap to cover up the bad haircut he had in those days :)
Loved his guitar playing in this.

Has this been shown? Silly but the impersonation ain't bad, and the cover of Funky Moped is a nice touch!
