Indigo Theatre? I can't find it listed. Just an Indigo Restaurant in a hotel in Aldwych - I suppose this could be a private invite only thing. Invite me Elvis.

Where did you get this figure from? I don't think I'll be paying that after shelling out for the tower of London show. It seems a bit strange, I can't find any more info on the show.

I assume it was a question, not a statement - based on the increasingly exorbitant ticket prices for EC shows...

Don't think such a venue exists! Maybe it's in the process of being built?

it's a scam. Elvis figures if you'll buy MAIT is true 4 times, you'll buy tickets to a venue that doesn't exist.

Elvis Costello to play revamped Dome venue
New club to open at London arena

Elvis Costello is set to appear for a gig at the former Millenium Dome complex in London.

The singer is being lined up to appear at the O2 Arena's sister venue, The Indigo Club, during the summer.

The gig at the revitalised 2,000 capacity venue is part of a programme which kicks off with Jools Holland on July 2.

The club is expected to house over 200 gigs a year when it is finally completed in June.

It will hold 1,500 people in the main area, 600 on the upper tier and a further 140 people in the Kings Row luxury seating area, reports Music Week.

The main arena, meanwhile, which will feature the likes of The Rolling Stones and Justin Timberlake this summer, has a capacity of nearly 30,000.

In fact it looks like Justin Timberlake is playing on the same night as Elvis. No word on tickets yet?

I wasn't intending on going given the cost of the previous night's tickets but I think I'll wait and see what the ticket prices are first. If it's not an Allen Toussaint show then I'll go. It would be a shame to miss it but given that the set list probably won't change then I may not be able to justify it.

I guess the tix are expensive cos they have about seven extra band members to pay. Don't fancy dragging myself down to the Dome to see 'em. It always looks like a car park down there. I'm strictly a Festival Hall, Shep Bush Empire, Hammersmith Apollo man meself!

Is this show still on? Ticketmaster seem to be listing a different act for the venue for that night.

Timbaland - Shock Value
Indigo2, Greenwich, UK
Sun 8 Jul 2007, 23:00

However with a start time of 11PM maybe this is happening after Elvis 'n co. finish.

I can't see how that would work logistiacally John unless Elvis' is an afternoon show.

This link gives the known shows at Indigo2

I still think Elvis will play the Tower of London show but it won't be anyway near sold out.

Having been to the local library at lunchtime, I read Time Out (London listings magazine). There was a full page advert for Justin Timberlake's tour (he is playing the main o2 arena on 8th July) and it shows Timbaland as supporting. Looking on seetickets.com shows that the tickets currently on sale are for Timbalands After Show party on 8th July in the Indigo2 but the listings section shows Elvis' concert at the Tower of London Festival on 7th July and in brackets it says (also 8 July Indigo2 £65-£45).

I'm confused. Even more so than usual :?

Anyway I'm off on holiday from today until 19th so I daresay I'll come back and everything will be made clear. And the Indigo2 concert will be sold out.

It seems Elvis is turning his back on the UK where he started
very conflicting tour dates no UK info on offical website
His attitude towards UK fans is very poor He should not forget where it all started

There was a full page advert in one of the newspapers yesterday for Indigo2 and it showed 8th July as Timbaland's After Show party starting at 11pm. As I said before, logistically I can't see the Elvis show being on that night. Although it's possible that the show could be in the afternoon I don't think this will happen either.

I have doubts about the Tower of London show as well to be honest :(

Good seats are still available through seetickets (better seats than the ones I've already bought!) and there's also the Live Earth concert in London that day. I fear there is such a lull in ticket sales (which are quite expensive in the first place) that Elvis will be playing to a sparse crowd.

I'm hoping I'm wrong of course.

Never mind, we can all join in on the choruses and really empty the hall.

Might be worth keeping an eye on eBay for this. There are two for £30 at present, but they have 8 days to go!
