$1500?

I'd be expecting a threesome* with Elvis and Diana for that kind of money

* a threesome in the sense of singing with the two of them and not any other kind of threesome no-sir-ee!
Who’s this kid with his mumbo jumbo?

Verbal, you are becoming quite the miser! We all know that one cannot expect a threesome (we're talking about a singing trio, of course, ahem. . .) with EC and Diana for a mere $1500. At least all of my offers to EC's management have gone unanswered. Maybe I've got the wrong e-mail address(?). . .

You think $1500 is steep? Diana's Lincoln Center fundraiser tix will run you at least 10x that...

I had this flash across my Bloomberg ticker recently.

The Investment Industry Gala aims to win Wall Street support for Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. The benefit, now in its third year, is on April 12 at Jazz at Lincoln Center in the Time Warner Center and features a performance by Grammy Award- winning jazz singer Diana Krall. This event is open only to hedge fund and private equity managers and other financial-services professionals.

Tickets range from $100,000 to $15,000. Information: +1-212-875-5434.

There's your answer! $15,000 is probably the kind of loose change they find down their expensive equivalents of sofas!

I know this is a late comment but I've heard verbal gymnastics' singing (Bournemouth 2006 is it? and I'd pay at least $1500 to never experience his singing every again !

Harsh but extremely fair. I think that's why Elvis cut his set that night. Indeed I'll pay £1500 for you to recall every copy of this disc in existence and never circulate it again

So my output is up and my typing is slow ( and frequently inaccurate) like someone's pitch I might add. I'm in the throes of uploading more EC from the files and thought I'd do Columbus 15 March 1979 (guess why ?) but the quality is pretty poor. Has anyone any particular favourites they'd like to see up for grabs ? Everytime I think I've found a decnt show, one listen on my personal MD player convinces me otherwise. :?
