I picked three, but you don't have to use them all. Not trying to hog the stage.

Well, ok I am, but you don't have to let me.

I will do Tokyo Storm Warning (in fact its half finished - its about 7+ mins long so should take up a bit of space.)
I could probably do something else too. (I'll have to think about what exactly).

Welcome aboard Mike! "Tokyo Storm Warning" would be great. Since it's a long song, you're fine to just do that one song.. though if you want to do another, that's certainly fine.

noiseradio, you can have three for now, but know that one of yours will be the first to get cut if we run out of room. I doubt that will happen though :D

SmallFaces sent me a PM saying he'd be interested in doing Kinder Murder, Cheap Reward, Crimes Of Paris, and/or The Beat. SmallFaces, if you could pick two of those, that'd be great.

The latest tracklist (I changed my mind about "Oliver's Army")

1. Brilliant Mistake - BlueChair
2. Deep Dark Truthful Mirror - BlueChair
3. Posession - pip_52
4. Poisoned Rose - SoLikeCandy
5. Radio, Radio - noiseradio
6. Alison - noiseradio
7. (I Don't Want To Go To) Chelsea - noiseradio
8. God's Comic - cbartal
9. Human Hands - cbartal
10. Party Girl - Ha' Penny Millionaire
11. Uncomplicated - DrJ
12. You Tripped At Every Step - cosmos
13. Clubland - Copenhagen Fan
14. Big Sister's Clothes - pophead2k
15. Tokyo Storm Warning - Mike Boom

I think we need a double album.

And if we do, I'd be happy to contribute Oliver's Army's kick ass version of Shallow Grave.

A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. Do you think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fuckin' cross? It's kind of like going up to Jackie Onassis with a rifle pendant on.

I gotta agree w/ Blue on that one...I mean, excess has never been the man's thing, although, the more submissions, the better..

I bow to Blue's discretion to select a "fair & representative" track list...

And, by the way, more graphics now available at:

Ok - so whats the deal - Ive finished my track (mainly due to the fact that I accidently wiped all the tracks from my PC) so the rough mix will just have to do!! - but thats ok - rough is fine by me. So do we upload an MP3 or sumfin? Or send a CD? I've never really been a fan of MP3's personally - they always sound like crap to me - but I guess thats just due to the amount of compression?Anyhose -so how do you want it?

Love Mike (NOT Mike Love)

P.S

The graphics look great Sulky - but I think - was it Sweet Pears idea? - that using peoples icons somewhere would look cool - and would work well with the front cover. My offical two cents!

Mike Boom... kudos to being the first to finish a track. I know mp3's aren' fantastic, but I think as long as they are encoded as 192kbps or higher they should sound fine. Plus it would make for easier transfer. I'm not sure how large a file my e-mail can accept, so perhaps hang onto it now.

Maybe taz or spookygirlfriend's husband can help me set up a private FTP that people can upload their songs to but only I can hear what's on there.

It's great to hear that you're doing this cd. I surfed over from elviscostello.info a couple days ago and started a version of imagination is a powerfull deciever that is almost done. I know I'm jumping on board rather late, so I understand If there's no room left, but I'll submit it when I'm finished so you guys can take a listen.

Thanks,

Welcome aboard ben!

The latest news is that taz will be putting up an FTP site where users can upload their songs, but only I will be able to hear them for now. I figure it's only fair that people can start hearing them once the finished product is ready to go.

My house is empty tonight so I'll hopefully get started on recording my contributions. I'm hoping others are starting to do the same.

URGENT QUESTION!

Post by LessThanZero »

I'm going over to someone's house tomorrow. There's a recording studio in the basement.
He said I could "lay down a track" for our Elvis Tribute CD. :D

I'm doing Chemistry class.

Should I cover the original recording, or the shorter Live recording from the AF reissue???

I was thinking the live version without the 3rd verse...

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK I SHOULD DO????????????????
