Human Hands, Pidgin English, You Little Fool

Post by bambooneedle »

I'd find it harder to compare IB songs to those of another album, so decided on this. Which one is the best?

I'm casting my vote for Pidgin English, as well...it's really a toss-up between that & HH, but I ALWAYS vote for the underdog (which is probably why I rarely win any sporting bets...)

"You Little Fool" is my favourite of the three, though the other two are also great.

I couldn't decide a few days ago when I first saw this thread, so I listened to IB again on the road this weekend and finally made a decision:

1. Human Hands
2. You Little Fool
3. Pidgin English

How do I vote in the poll? Am missing something.

You Little Fool is my favourite of these. Just a fantastic song. Human Hands a pretty close second. Pidgin English is probably my least favourite on the LP. It's still good, and least fave on IB sis anyone else's awesome, but wel behind the other two.

My vote seems to have been cast without me doing it. Can it read my text for me? Wow - smart software!

hate to go along with everyone else but human hands is definitely my favorite of the three. there's just something about the way it's so simple. the idea behind the song. "all i ever want is just to fall into your human hands.". all the clever word play and imagry in the song summed up with this utterly simplistic line. pidgin english comes second. i don't thing anyone else in pop music has used the word semophore in a song. i could be wrong. it's a great song about finding the words. believe me words are not always easy to find. you little fool comes in third. it's a nice little story about a not so nice situation that i've seen too many people fall into.

Look at this old thread I found. Pretty relevant to this week. I would always vote YLF, but Sundays PE was THE BOMB OF THE YEAR, A++++
