Steve told us that on the way to Portland Elvis was driving alone in his car with his guitar and powerbook on his knee, composing new songs.
While I am glad I was not on the same road, I am very pleased that the effort continues.

I'm more concerned at what this may do to his music... is he going to start sounding like Roger Miller? (I suppose that's not so bad...)

He obviously learned to drive in Los Angeles! It is definitely a trip watching what people do while driving down there (besides shooting guns). It's where I learned to drive with my knees too!
