I'm pretty much the current "Northelvis" - consumed with adult stuff like matters of the heart, family and work. I don't have much patience left for the vast majority of cool youth-oriented pop music or culture, rarely look at the television (except to wonder what drove me to pay $1000+ for a state of the art 36" HDTV a little over a year ago - Clifford, The Big Red Dog doesn't look THAT much better!) and could care less what anybody (besides, perhaps, family) thinks about what I do, how I dress or how I look.

Also, the waistline and any subsequent trips to the Y are determined by how I feel about what the mirror and scale are telling me on any given morning!

Sheesh. . .what the hell has happened to me in the last 20 years???!!! Life really is wonderful!!!!
