I too am angry young Elvis. Who wrote that, it's a hilarious concept (course, we could have made it a bit more elaborate but then we're obsessed...)

Yeah, they left out some sides of Elvis . . . surely he's more complex than just the five they gave us! Though, thats probably already more complex than me . . .

The questions were good though. "I cant stop buying hats!"

Well, I could hunt down some new images and add more questions to the quiz in order to show Mr. Costello in a more complex light. I'm not all that happy with the original images anyway (I suck at Photoshop), and the answers could have been funnier. I was far, far too wordy.

 No problem, it was fun. Hope everyone enjoyed indulging my dorkiness.

(Laughing Crow, I dig the compliments, but I must beg to differ with the term 'bloke,' as I am merely a bird with an androgynous and unpronounceable screen name.)

I'm also "Legendary Elvis"...

You are so funny.

Misha,

Look at the first post on this thread and click the blue words. It's a link to a questionaire which will identify just what sort of Elvis you are.
I don't know if I'm THAT funny -- especially since your post actually caused me to figure out what was REALLY going on (I admit it, I was a bit mystiefied at seeing the same pics over and over ).

Anyway, it turns out that I, too, am Angry Young Elvis. Guess I just have to look back in a bloody rage.....Now, sod off.

I would be the Elvis who would be simultaneously starstruck to compose and perform with the likes of Burt Bachrach, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen while completely confidant in my own abilities to lead and contribute at, and beyong their level. That is the essence of his enigma in art as far as I am concerned...to push the envelope until it is ready to shatter by putting himself in the way of potential artistic disaster...then smugly yet professionally relying on his own self esteem and self actualization to pull him through...no, to actually LEAD the project to an outcome that is better then the sum of its parts.

There is no static photo to depict it...just action.

In my dreams, I am asked to contribute to the writing and live performances of one EC record only: This Years Model. I don't know what that means, but the board psychiatrist A Rope Leash can probably link it to something in my psyche somewhere. Clearly, these delusions of granduer suggest an obsession with that album, which I rank as third in my all time listing of EC recordings. A sort of pre-recorded sibling rivalry dementia.

Some things never change.

Sorry Whtside  ....didn't mean to sound like a chauvinist...that 'bloke' was non-gender specific. :D

:D No big deal. I'm from New England, where we call everybody 'guys,' so I should be used to it.
