Lots of analogue-era imagery in these titles - esp newspapers., but also clocks and radios (but not clock radios)

Newspaper pane
Hetty O'Hara Confidential (gossip columns)
Byline
Hey Clockface
Radio is Everything

No digital - though it looks like Elvis (Eammon) is a dab hand at digital animation these days!

NAH, i enjoy it. His mind obviously goes 100 m.p.h. LET HIM GET IT OUT OF HIS SYSTEM. fun enough for me to eyeball. Maybe after the next l.p. concludes the trilogy. 8)

No. Spring for some proper artwork, FFS!

And while we're at it, get rid of the ghastly video backdrops in the live show!

The merchandising has gone a bit mad. Mind you, I am sure Sulky, Verbal or T. Balcony could do with a Clockface pencil case!

I won’t be troubling the merchandise store.

I’ll buy the CD and get Elvis to sign it.

There's also a 7-inch single of "No Flag" with an "exclusive" version of "I Wish It Would Rain" on the b-side (although I wonder if it's this version).[/quote]

Only 300 copies of the single and all sold.

The photographer’s name appears to be a new pseudonym.

I'm the same although I'll probably get the vinyl.

Having said that, I had Look Now ready for Elvis to sign in Oxford and that was cancelled on the morning of the gig.

I'll just bring it a long with Hey Clockface for signing at the rescheduled show.

Order confirmations from the official site suggest there will be another song on September 11.

Which matches what we think we know...three tracks in Helsinki with EC playing all instruments (No Flag/Hetty/Cowards). Nine tracks in Paris with Steve and a Steve-assembled horns/woodwind section. Two tracks assembled (instrumentally) by Michael Leonhart/Bill Frisell in New York to which EC added vocals via what he enjoys calling 'electronic wire' (Newspaper Pane and Radio is Everything).

In terms of credits, the above reflects what we think to have been the composition of the two New York tracks. 'The Last Confession of Vivian Whip' is presumably an instrumental track that Steve/Muriel brought to the sessions and EC added vocals? 'Hey Clockface' looks to be an EC composition but, in its final section, segues into Fats Waller's 'How Can You Face Me Now?' hence the co-writing credit?

It's a Friday, so that fits. It's one aspect of the modern world that slightly saddens me - the idea that a 'single', now, simply means a track from the LP that becomes electronically available a few weeks before the LP itself. But there we go. What's the status of the 7" No Flag/I Wish It Would Rain (if indeed that is the mystery B-side)? You get it as part of one of the various bundles on the website?

You my have better eyesight that me Favehour, but I couldn't see a 'buy the single separately' option - only available in the mega-moolah bundles, or the 300-sold-out-tie-up-with-the-LP. Perhaps I'll buy those underpants instead.....

It was originally possible to buy the single on its own, but now all options to buy the single are sold out. If you click on the bundles, the options with the single are not available.
