Does co-headlining mean they will switch up set times night to night?

Good question. How does co-headlining work?

Do they alternate as headliners each night but play the same length set?

Will Debbie and Elvis duet? (of course they will).

I’d also bet we don’t see this in the UK.

In 2017 Blondie and Garbage did a co-headlining tour.
They played each about 15 songs (about 50 minutes) with a 15 minute interval.
Blondie played last.
Since you put me down, it seems i've been very gloomy. You may laugh but pretty girls look right through me.

I think Blondie graciously acquiesces to let ELVIS IS KING headline nightly. OF COURSE, they get their 75 minutes and encore each evening AND playfulness will abound. Blondie does many live covers: BEATLES, BOWIE, T REX, ROXY, STONES and more. A duet on TELEVISIONs SEE NO EVIL might be nice. I know Elvis said in the book he robbed its riff for some TYM song....was it YOU BELONG TO ME? gonna be a FUN TOUR, I'd bet.

I hope this tour doesn't come to the UK as I'd think Blondie would get most of the attention and probably headline.

I saw Blondie and the Pretenders co-headline a tour in Australia several years ago and they alternated who headlined each night. I saw the tour twice, one outdoors in Perth and indoors in Melbourne, and as it happened Blondie headlined both times. Frankly the Pretenders blew them away each night. I think Chrissie Hynde is the classic female rock vocalist and Debbie Harry has never been a great singer. She isn't as good as she was when I saw her in 1978 and it wasn't great then. All about looks, style and image but as an icon she still draws them in.

If Elvis did have to do a co-headline tour with an act from the late 70s/early 80s I'd rather it was someone closely associated with his history rather than join one of these retro 70s packages which are becoming very popular as touring festivals

I'm not sure about the Elvis/Chrissie Hynde crossover but I'd go to that.

I'm thinking the obvious package like Elvis and Squeeze/Nick Lowe/Wreckless Eric/JC Clarke etc, although Squeeze are touring with Heaven 17 in the UK later in the year. I'm not sure how that works but I'm planning on going. How about Elvis and Joe Jackson or Lloyd Cole? Or a Live Stiffs reunion?

A little surprised at all the excitement over this mini-tour. Given the co-headline setup, EC's set is sure to be short and greatest-hits-y, and I'd imagine he and the Imps will be the opening band on half the dates. I particularly expect that to be the case in NYC, Blondie's (and my) hometown, and I ain't exactly dying to see Blondie in 2019.

Guess I'll wait till the 'next time around'

GAS....thanks for stating YOUR obvious PESSIMIST viewpoint, LIKE YOU SO OFTEN DO!! Can't say i, we or THEY will miss you at the shows. Chronic complainers are NOT what Elvis' return buyers are all about you know. Yeah, I'll PROBABLY see the greatest hits once AGAIN...maybe for the 50th, 60th or 80th time for some of the tunes. But that's just fine by me. Always different, always welcomed by my ears. And, yeah i am looking forward to Debbie again too. One of the small handful of artists i have seen five decades since the 1970's. You can't rain on my JULY 2019 parade. "GO AWAY AND STAY AWAY."

P.S. AND Imposters will NOT open in nyc or anywhere I'd bet.

It’s an Elvis and the Impostors tour, reasonably priced with another great band. What’s not to like (apart from it not being in the UK? :( ).

The Seattle ticket sale was rather unusual this morning as they put you in a queue until the sale began. I had 500+ people ahead of me at the start and settled for a lawn seat. I tried again later on and saw a pair of front row seats available. But alas, I clicked on them and I was told they were gone. Ticketmaster is a tease. I did, however, also score a ticket to see him open for Neil next month, so all is well...
