I have apparently committed a 'fatal error'

Is this serious ? Should I leave the country ?

No, doofer. It said "fatal" error.

You can't get away with just leaving the country, you'll have to just drop dead. :P

But I'm getting 'em too.

Don't worry folks, I promise I will do my damnedest to keep this site up and running, I'm currently trying to figure out what could be causing these issues. Me and a couple much more knowledgable tech's are messing with the code and we have a request into PHP (the Bulletin Board people) as to what might be causing the issue.

Can we get a link to our board from JohnE's site. Therefore if we all move (again) JohnE will be the official site to link to whatever board is working. Since it's the best EC site, it should pick up many net trawlers for this board at the same time...

i am the queen of the invalid session. i OWN the invalid session.

word.

was there an email address left on the official EC site that we could ask for a link to here? that might invite certain...undesirables, but we'd be able to monitor things that an official board might not.

or something.

DrJ -

What is the JohnE site? Is that elviscostello.info?

If everyone can hang on, I'm sure this will get resolved. My husband broke down the error code messages last night and has narrowed down the problem and emailed it to Taz. Once Tux is back in town he can view what happened and get working on it. It doesn't look like a big deal, just a glitch that can easily be fixed.

And we still know where to find Taz. :D

I'm not having any problems, but then, I've been away for a few days now...

And I missed the "Alison" thing, too.

But, then again, that was no great loss.

And the email notifications aren't coming. I keep assuming everyone's abandoned the board and then find loads of new posts on the relevant threads.

sulky girl:

whenever that stuff comes up, your post still went through (probably), so you just have to open the page again.

The email part is what's wrong with the site. There's just a screwup with the configuration and it shouldn't be hard to deal with once it's been located. :)
