"Last night I produced an acoustic evening of Elvis Costello for the grand opening of a NJ tech company, Earthcam. When Elvis finished playing the company ceo (Brian Cury) jumped on stage and married Maria, his fiancée. Minister Barry Josephson presiding. All in all, an epic evening for a great guy, his new bride, and an amazing company."

MIKE...i think not. I bet he only has to guarantee 45 minutes. And with no band, overhead, roadies, busses, soundman, security, management etc...and all the hors d'oeuvres he can eat!!! a 250 limo to and from the big Apple, i will say 50 gets the contract signed, no? Try it, then invite doc and me. :) :D

Good find erey, but i imagine that is FULL SHOW pricing. At these events i think an hour playing is an extravagant guess. I think most of these types of appearances fall in the thirty to forty five minutes range. I could be all wet however.

I would consider paying $50k if I could dictate the set list!

The image of EC eating hors d'oeuvres made me laugh. "Bring me some more of them crab puffs and pigs in blankets!"

From similar experiences, I expect you could “suggest” songs for the set list but not “dictate”. The suggestions would likely be incorporated if judged to be within reason

I agree it’s an expensive jukebox but think of the possibilities!!!!
