#WWC seems to be "Wishing we could" according to Slitzkys insta.

It is up to anyone to figure out what it could mean....

".....Elvis Costello, Wishing We Could in Last Night's Office. Still marveling from the moment, and feeling very fortunate for the time spent with these wise figures working on an incredible piece of art."

Maybe "Wishing We Could" is the name of the song that Rod Hohl and Steven Mandel wrote and EC sang.

Why didn't I think of that before?

I can't figure out how to link to it directly, but it's work # 24416936 on BMI's site.

Maybe a track for the new The Roots album "Endgame" , full of " love ballads" and "flying in July"?

I am just clicking around a bit on the BMI web and find a - to me - unknown song.

Crooked liar, written by T-Bone Burnette and EC
http://repertoire.bmi.com/DetailView.as ... itles=True

is this new? or is this something that didn´t stick on my radar?

I think "Crooked Liar" is meant to be "Crooked Line".

"July, she will fly" is yet another Paul Simon lyric (from "April Come She Will").
He's now posted eight "hints."

Hmmm... Either Elvis has written songs with Paul Simon or he's contributing a track to a Graduate tribute soundtrack covers album. The Graduate film shares a 50th birthday with Sgt Pepper this year. Whaddaya reckon?!

By the way, has anyone picked up that The Roots are playing the Jazz Cafe in London on 2nd and 3rd July?

Doesn't Elvis come back to England around this time for his mum's birthday...?

We're back to Paul Simon references, as Mrs. Wagner's pies are mentioned in "America."

Hint 12 from EC:
Hint 12
Matthew 5:5
@StevenMandel @ElvisCostello
Matthew 5:5 is "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth." It's also yet another Paul Simon reference, since Simon quoted it in the opening line of "Blessed."

Hint 12.5 from EC is a link to a Keith Moon song called "I'm Not Angry."

It is not a cover of EC's song of the same name. It could be a reference to Ray Angry.

They may well be mocking us with nonsensical clues at this point, but I'll point out that Steven Mandel gives his location as "The Kids Are Alright" in the post with the Christopher Cross single called "All Right", and the Impressions album includes the song "It's All Right".

Getting tedious...was fun, but now???

It ain't a freakin new BEATLES lp!!!

Oh well, glad if he is having fun and media blitzing us 2017 style. In fact, it is oddly reminiscent to the way he advertised 35/40 years ago...kinda cool I guess.

Finger on the pulse as always, VG
I'm sure the Theresa May clip alludes to the Lionel Ritchie/ Commodores song "3 times a Lady" or else "The Imposter" for the extremely accurate "Duff" Vader impersonation !

Judging by the amount of tweets with pictures Elvis and Steven Mandel are sending out, at least they seem to be enjoying themselves!
