Why no official live bootlegs?

Has EC ever mentioned an interest in this? Seems a lot of bands are on board with this now. Especially as a way to officially get the new and rarely played songs.
Who on earth is tapping at the window?

This is something that I've often wondered too. I know it's not recent but Springsteen , finally after all these years, has been officially selling his shows. Although my wallet and my wife would hate me for it, I'd gladly pony up the cash for multiple Elvis shows.
