Elvis Costello in translation

Post by myaimistrue91 »

I don't know if there are italians in this forum. Anyway, four weeks ago I created a blog, Elvis Costello in translation, where every week I translate a Costello's song from English to Italian. For now I've translated “(The Angels Wanna Wear My) Red Shoes”, “(I don’t want to go to) Chelsea”, “Man out of time” and “Pills and soap”. I hope italian fans like it.

There was a book published about the time of All This Useless Beauty of Elvis lyrics published in Italian. I can't recall the name and Amazon/Ebay don't seem to list it. One of my long regretted passed-up purchases at Tower Outlet in San Francisco.

You're probably talking about a book published in 1989. I have this book but in my opinion the translations are not so good. Is this one? http://www.ebay.it/itm/Elvis-Costello-T ... Swd0BV68rc
