This is a very small concerthall: only about 700 seats!
Hope the tickets aren't expensive.

It's a lovely venue. I saw the Levellers there about 12 years ago.

I might try and fit this in for a short break :D

Me

I'm on the Eurostar tomorrow morning and straight back on Friday morning.

I worked/lived in Bruges for 18 months, 12 years ago, and absolutely loved the place but never been back since.

Really looking forward to it :D

He was in fine voice in Antwerp on Saturday night, with a quiet and attentive audience. I hope the Bruges show will be a good one too and that the sun shines for you. Enjoy the beer and the waffles.

I'm not a beer drinker but I don't mind some of the fruit beers from this part of the world.

And don't forget the moules frites!

Cheers :D

Fabulous gig in a wonderfully ornate venue. A bit like a smaller Royal Albert Hall. Unfortunately I was on front row the 4th level and had a bit of a lighting gantry attached in front with a spot light blocking the middle of the stage. I could only see the rim of Elvis' hat when he was at the central mic but a clear view on the piano, blue chair and inside the TV

I think he tried to mix things up a bit and no Detectives and PLU for the first time in ages. He voice was excellent and the crowd were generally very receptive. I've written down the set list but I'm not sure I got it right. Plus I didn't recognise a couple of songs.

I had a good chat with Elvis afterwards. He signed all my album covers I had with me and when I asked him about Detectives and PLU he said he was mixing things and didn't think the hall acoustics didn't suit louder songs, although I Want You was loud. I asked about Stripping Paper and Isabella's Tears which said they were new songs and did I like them? I mentioned I was in NY for the Imperial Bedroom show. He asked which night and said the second show was better! He said they were changing it slightly for the ne t tour and haven't decided on bringing it to Europe yet as they aren't sure what the reception would be. I said I think there is a lot of people waiting to see it and he said they will have a look at it. Elvis seemed happy to chat, there was only three of us there all from the UK but his security people were trying to get him back to the hotel, which was just around the corner.

If anyone remember the set list differently then please amend

1. Watch Your Step
2. Chelsea/Clubland/Chelsea/Clubland
3. Rocking Horse Road
4. Motel Matches/First One Today? (I didn't recognise the second song sang in the middle of Motel Matches)
5. Church Underground (piano)
6. Shipbuilding / Cinco Minutos Con Vos (piano)
7. Deep Dark Truthful Mirror (piano)
8. Stripping Paper (piano)
9. A Face In The Crowd (piano)
10. Walking My Baby Back Home (blue chair)
11. Ghost Train (blue chair)
12. Toledo ((blue chair)
13. Isabella's Tears (new song?)
14. Veronica
15. Alison
16. Blood & Hot Sauce (piano)
17. No Man's Woman (piano)
18. Accidents Will Happen (piano)
19. Almost Blue (piano)
20. Pump It Up (in TV)
21. Less Than Zero (in TV)
22. Jimmy Standing In The Rain / Buddy Can You Spare a Dime
23. Vitajex
24. She
25. I Want You

Maybe "There Stands The Glass"?

Almost Blue was in remembrance of a dear friend who passed away a few days ago.
It must be for Tommy LiPuma, the producer of Diana: http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/ ... ipuma-obit

Thanks offshoreram.

Looks like a great show.

I think he'll bring the Imperial Bedroom to England but with only a few dates.

I didn't take many photos at the show in Bruges because of the spot light restricting the view. I could have taken more when he moved to the blue chair but by that point I'd almost forgotten I had my camera with me!
