Looks cool. Wish it offered an audio version too.

Very excited to watch this, although I wish that Costello would take a cue from Springsteen and start selling audio from ALL of his concerts. It would be so great to be able to purchase individual tracks from these solo tours where the set list changes from one night to the next...

I saw Squeeze in Plymouth last November and they managed to have CDs available after the show with a complete recording of the show and there were plenty of people ( in excess of 50 at least) who were queuing to purchse the recordings. For those of us who really love the variety in Elvis' setlists, it seems like a really positive acknowledgement and an incentive !

I'd imagine if EC offered CDs of live shows at the merch table, the line would be intimidating. If EC tried this out on one tour, it's hard to imagine he would ever stop doing it. The Costello fan is a sucker for this kind of thing. I could imagine spending a regrettable amount of money if he ever did what I'm actually wishing for...

I've been saying for years -- or at least two record labels ago -- that he should sell his music directly to his fans. Pete Townshend did, Robert Fripp still does. But I think he still harbors some resentment for those of us who'll buy anything and everything.

It's an oddity isn't it? The people who buy CDs of the shows fall into 2 main categories; those who want a souvenir of their night out and the fans who are happy to shell out for multiple shows.

I'm sure we've discussed this in the forum over the years and nothing's changed.

Even this DVD release is curious as it's not the whole show.

I did manage to watch it on Valentines day but alone. Mrs Sheep was getting ready to go out. (yes she takes that long)

I saw them in Southend. I think its a great idea. I bought a copy of the show plus cradle to the grave for £25.

Got mine now, and watched it. Very enjoyable, although I do lament this seemingly ubiquitous practice of including four or five 'bonus tracks'. I don't understand in what sense they are supposed to be 'bonus', given that they appear on every edition of the DVD. I enjoyed them, mind, and I'm glad they were included, but I'd have preferred to watch them integrated into the main programme.

Finally got around to watching this today and it was better than I expected. Started off a little rocky, but the stuff with Larkin Poe was stellar. They really add a lot to the songs. I would love to see a whole concert with them accompanying EC. The highlight of the regular EC set for me was the haunting version of When I Was Cruel.
