I just checked the availability for the Warwick ( Coventry) show and , according to the seating chart , there are seven seats left.

As of now I'm going to the Warwick show & returning to Dublin the next day. There is still a chance I'll be back later in the week for one of the Palladium shows. I won't bore everyone with the various , complicated reasons.

If I had definitely been going to to any of the London shows it would have been mainly to catch up with friends from all over going to them. Elvis isn't doing a show on Thursday , May 12th , in the middle of the run at the Palladium. On that evening another favourite of mine , Laura Cantrell, is doing a show in London, at the Union Chapel. I hope to go to that and if I do I will be in London by early that afternoon, returning to Dublin early the following morning. So maybe I'll get a chance to see people that afternoon.

Laura was , by the way , very interested to hear about Elvis being in London on that date - no promises , but , you never know....

Any one already had the pleasure on Detour know whether there are any decent merch stands on this tour? Would like a rough idea of whether I will get the opportunity to pay through the nose for a t-shirt. Any pics would be fab, too!

I saw this pic on Twitter the other day:

In Los Angeles and Riverside, the merchandise included at least one other shirt and Larkin Poe's Reskinned album on both CD and vinyl.

^^^ Thanks for that! Can't seem to find any pictures anywhere for the merch. Maybe someone attending Coventry will post a photo. Would love a CD or DVD of that Liverpool Detour gig, too.

Going to the first two shows. Thinking about the Friday night, too, but will probably make a last minute decision on that. Staying at a hotel near Leicester Square, so I might be able to walk back there - I'm assuming it's safe enough to at that time of night? Can't do Saturday because.... DON'T LAUGH... I want to watch the Eurovision Song Contest. *look of shame* Haha.

On the theme of Eurovision. Maybe Elvis should throw in a tribute to the song contest of all song contests on the 14th. I suggest 'Waterloo' sung to the tune and in the manner of 'I Want You'. It might just work.

I have a ticket for Wednesday 11th but unfortunately I'll be on an oil rig at the time so unable to go. I'll also miss the Warwick gig but I have put that on the Warwick thread. I'll be in the stall for the Saturday gig though.

The spare ticket is for Upper Circle Row E. If anyone wants it then please pm me before next Wednesday, 27th April so I can post it out. After that I'll be offshore with limited internet access. No charge for the ticket but I'd ask for a donation to my daughters charity challenge.

If anyone feels like donating then please follow the link...

How about something even more absurd... 'Making Your Mind Up' but without the dress ripping. I reckon Elvis could probably do his own version of any song! But he could use this one as a way of changing costume half way through the show.

I'm going on Sat 14th, but I've now had the chance of a front row seat, so if anyone wants my Row H ticket please pm me.
it cost me £67 with all booking fees, but £50 and it's yours !

I can't wait for the gig, seems an eternity since his last show...................although I wish The Imposters were gonna be there too !

I am SO excited now!

Just letting everyone know, if you're going to the gigs by train, 10th 11th 12th and 13th May there is supposedly a rail strike on Southern Rail networks. I'm coming on SouthEastern and they tell me their routes will be strike-free, so I am hoping everything will be alright.

Elvis' mini tour starts on Sunday.

Where's the excitement people?

On a personal level I've had so much going on with work, home and school stuff that I've not had time to really think about this. And I'm going to 3 London shows NEXT WEEK.

I'll be tuning in on Sunday for John's live Twitter feed...

I'm still torn as to which outfit I'm wearing both before and after the show...

Looks like the travelling outfit will involve waterproofs though :(
