I think the venue holds about 120 people. From the comments on this site, we'll be about half of them!

So lets rename the event to something like: "EC fan forum hangaround featuring the music of EC presented by Mr S. Nieve" or something like that.
Instead of meeting in advance we might be able to get a buffé and some drinks delivered??? :D :D :D

I don't need comments from VG about representing half an audience of 60

The tour should be renamed to

Steve Nieve plays to Elvis Costello's stalkers.

Just by their names, I presume the Liverpool Philharmonic and the Colston Hall are large venues... but the St James downstairs studio is really intimate! Seems odd that the London venue is so small compared to the others - not that I mind!

Fear not Neil - The Liverpool Philharmonic hall is a 1000+ seater, but Steve's opening their new Music Room which is a new intimate venue, I guess about 250 tops can be crammed in.

Re meeting up before - there's a large, spacious bar in the ground floor of the St James theatre, and there's a pub right next door to the front entrance. So if you guys are not in one, I'll assume you're in the other! Neil

I suggest we meet up at the venue.

Hopefully we'll all get to meet up because of the 7 degrees of separation. If anyone wants my mobile number then PM me.

As ever, ladies, form an orderly queue

There is also a bar downstairs in the studio part of the venue. Seating is "cabaret" style, so you can rest your drink on a table whilst enjoying the music. Very civilised. See you there, or in the Phoenix next door.

I saw "My Darling Clementine" there last night, and Paul Cassidy (Brodsky Quartet) was in the audience.

The London show is sold out. I've already had a PM from someone looking for a ticket. He's going to come along anyway so if anyone realises closer to the date that they have a spare ticket there'll be a taker there for it.
