This is how he was introduced when he was on in April 2009 - so witty...

There was a very short playful interview at the end of the show with Elvis playing When I write the book/Everyday I write the book.
There was a nice revolving backdrop with some of Elvis' albums.
Elvis joked he'd play his hits - Wonderwall and My Sweet Lord.
No doubt the link will be posted.

Since you put me down, it seems i've been very gloomy. You may laugh but pretty girls look right through me.

Yeah. I too thought the backdrop looked really good.verbal gymnastics wrote:There was a very short playful interview at the end of the show with Elvis playing When I write the book/Everyday I write the book.

I'm still puzzled as to why he went on the show...............very unlike him. I know the tour is starting but it certainly seemed unusual.
Mind you I'm not complaining, any unexpected Elv appearances are always welcome !
At least they didn't ask him to play Oliver's Army !
Re: The One Show, 29th May
He was on the show to promote the tour, so it was a bit weird of Chris Evans to say 'the tour is sold out' - a bit counter-productive, as the tour isn't sold out, according to Elvis's website. They should have said 'you can still get tickets' - surely the whole point of his appearance!
