Just got this announcement:

Elvis Costello proudly announces his upcoming "Detour" solo tour which will take him through 13 U.S. cities starting in Boulder, Colorado on the 1st of March.

As a longtime fan, you'll be given an opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public starting this Wednesday, December 3rd* at 10am local venue time. A password will be required to participate in the pre-sale. Use password "detour" to purchase your tickets!

*Note that not all events will go on sale this Wednesday. Please click the link of the tour date(s) below you plan to attend for the most up-to-date pre-sale information.

I wasn't expecting another solo tour so soon. Not complaining though!

So, hopefully, when EC said at RAH in October that he will be back there early next year, he actually meant it. Fingers crossed for some Europe dates!

haha...good one sulky. maybe cos he wants to do all those KANSAS CITY songs from LOST ON THE RIVER? i somehow will REST EASY that there will be at least a few Northeast dates added. coming up from Florida, like a hurricane!

What I want to know is it DE'tour or just the Detour tour? Sadly, no SF dates. Perhaps, I will use my Airline Voucher pass (expires 12/19!) toward tickets somewhere east and south - Nashville, NO, maybe.
