21st century Elvis

Post by ice nine »

I have spent the better part of the weekend listening to Elvis' 21st century catalog. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed River in Reverse, National Ransom, Secret Profane & Sugarcane, Momofuku, The Delivery Man, Wise Up Ghost.

I was a super-super latecomer to Elvis' work. My first 3 albums were WIWC, Delivery Man & Momofuku, so I really appreciate these albums a lot. They were the only albums of his that I listened to from 2002 until 2011, when I finally started listening to his older work - and then I just went absolutely head over heels and have not come up for air since. :D

Welcome Veronica. I suppose that Elvis does not get out to Minnesota much.

Thank you!

He used to visit us more often, it seemed.
He was here in June and said "I don't know why we've been away so long".
I'm surprised, too, because Elvis has said that Minneapolis is his favorite U.S. city between the coasts.
