One of our favorite albums of 2013 was Wise Up Ghost, the long-awaited collaboration between Elvis Costello and The Roots. Last September the two acts paired for a show at Brooklyn Bowl billed as "One Night Only," but thankfully we'll see more of Elvis and The Roots when they team for three shows in March.

Costello and The Roots will play The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on March 12. Tickets for this show go on sale Friday, January 31 at noon ET. The two acts will then jet to Las Vegas to play two of the first shows at impresario Pete Shapiro's Brooklyn Bowl - Las Vegas outpost on March 15 and 16. Elvis and The Roots's Las Vegas gigs take place after The Roots play the venue by themselves on March 14.

of course....i'm kinda horrible in geography, but i think it is actually heading a bit UP & OUT! (NORTH & EAST!)

and all this FOUR DAYS after heading SOUTH for some IMPOSTERS in ATLANTIC CITY! got to LOVE this man's LIVE "dance card."

I was thrilled it was a seated venue, but looks like they are going to make the floor Gen Admission. They take the seats out?

If that's the case, then I need to try for the loge, right? How hard is it to get front row loge or balcony, Doc?

Yes. They convert to entire orchestra floor to GA.

DAVE! i was telling Doc today how you will return to the CAPITOL no doubt and that VERY EXPENSIVE hotel again for certain....just in case there is NEVER another EC & ROOTS show in NY!

good move brilliant! okay, let's start this early. when you walk in the theater, there is a FULL SIZED bar to the right. bronx-westchester contingent PLUS favedave were there pre-show 7:15 or so for a beer back in November. come one, come all. BRILLIANT? Mike the lawyer? sign in here if attending this show. lets put faces to names. wish i could have UK'ers come along. king foyle, VG, Sulky???? this band might NEVER play out of the USA!

lookie all you LATE bloomers! doc and dave BOTH have extra VERY good seats for you! think long and hard about missing THIS one. if september 16th brooklyn bowl is ANY indication, this one is NOT to be missed....unless you are going to LAS VEGAS!
