Steven Mandel tweets:
@ElvisCostello just bossa nova'd MEANTIMES and hendrix'd SUGAR. @questlove #WiseUpGhost
Wave A White Flag into White Knuckles?!?!? I can seriously die now.
If only @Hedi131 and @dmelkins5000 were here to see what I just saw. Live acoustic My New Haunt!
(His sister Hedi Mandel is credited with "screams" on the studio version of "My New Haunt.")
If I Could Believe encore.

Looks like bronxapostle got his wish for "Imagination (Is A Powerful Deceiver)"!

And "Worthless Thing" hadn't been played since 1986.

Just returned from this show.

Holy f*ck!

Imagination (Is a Powerful Deceiver). King of Confidence. Poor Napoleon. Super-electric My New Haunt. Couldn't Call It Unexpected. All These Strangers.

All the songs from the new album really benefited from being heard in their stripped-down state. It gave me new insight into them. And the slow reading of Poor Napoleon revealed the sad song that lies at its heart.

And as Mr Mandel tweeted, Wave a White Flag into White Knuckles. That's some inspired sequencing.

Holy f*ck!

sorry to say, i would be too!

MY NEW HAUNT was incredible!!! A+++ as was KNUCKLES and so many more.

the only thing different i might have to say about the setlist is...i think it might have to be called RADIO RADIO SOUL as he was attempting to fulfill a request for RADIO RADIO before morphing into Radio Soul. it got weird that way, but cool. what a show it was to end this stellar tour with a 2:35 performance. and the best news is we listened to some of doc's recording coming home....fantastic.

Puppet was the highlight for me. Enjoyed all of the WUG songs tonight

Show was a little ragged in a love able way tonight, like the radio radio / radio soul that BA mentioned

Glad to see Mr. BA and get to both shows to end the tour. These different shows, bands, set lists and everything really are amazing. Thanks for always making things so interesting EC, something we can all be thankful for

Best tour I can remember, I saw 11 shows, 152 different songs. He played songs I never thought I would be fortunate to see him do live. Just live in Brooklyn and vacation in England and 2013 included
18 shows, With the Who, Spinning Wheel, 3 nights at RAH, Sheffield, Liverpool , Brooklyn Bowl with The Roots and 11 in Tri-state. Great venues, great crowds and Mr. Costello is the only man except Bruce ( hope you enjoyed the shows Ba and Doc) who would and could do it. Great to be a fan of EC!
Thanks to everyone for the heads up on tickets, I do not know what I would do without this website!!

so very glad to say a quick hello to you too jmm. next time, we must PLAN better. (like packing me into your suitcase for ROME in 2014). i was especially enamored with the set ending debut of MY NEW HAUNT. how great was THAT? and the killer WHITE KNUCKLES that i could almost hear Steve playing. and my VERY beloved IMAGINATION from THE bootleg that has been with me for more than 30 years...OUR AIM IS TRUE on clear vinyl. my old band did that song a few half a dozen times and i actually had to do that little guitar part (despite NOT being a guitar player  ) that EC accentuated so nicely to end the song tonight. WHAT A NIGHT!!! 111 shows in and i get SEVEN (or eight) i never saw before. imagine...the man remains the KING!

Setlist scans: I've been demoted to "casual fan", as I didn't know the majority of these songs; DEEP CUTS indeed.

Had a pre-show chat with ba, MTL and doc. I have to look at my photos to see if any are worthy of posting.
