I will be fortunate enough to be at a 'solo gig' later this month. My birthday is 27th December and in 1982 I was at the Albert Hall and heard his rendition of this song. I also have a very indistinct 'bootleg' copy on a C90 cassette. I have attended about 50 Costello gigs since and never heard it again.
Do you think that I should shout this out as a possible request or might it be that this will incur a similar wrath to asking about his opinion of the Linda Rondstadt version of Alison ? !!!!!!!!
