display topics in chronological order

Just wondered if it would be possible to display topics in chronological order from the date of last post ?
It would make it easier to keep track of new posts that way.

Oh I like this kind of request.

User Control Panel > Edit Display Options > Display post order direction:

Probably set to Ascending now since that's the default behavior. Change it to Descending. Then the newest post will be the first post displayed. You can also sort by author although I doubt that's particularly useful for casual reading.

You also have similar control over topics. But that has a slightly different set of ways to sort.
