I think I had them last year. Tasty if I remember.

My kids are hooked on Kindereggs. Can't tell you how many we smuggled back in our suitcases.

Do they package them in cartons? If so, I'd wager a dozen!

Oh my poor innocent dear. I have four kids who had even promised some to others. I think we actually carried back somewhere around 3 dozen.

That doesn't count the schokobons, duplo, etc. We must have looked like Willy fuckin' Wonka coming out of Germany.

In France we call them "Kinder Surprise", little kids love them. So much so they try to save them, carry them around for days.

Yep, same here in Australia.. very popular.

As well as Kinder Surprise, we have a similar item called a Yowi, which is thick milk cholcolate also containing a toy/puzzle/whatever.

Once, for a boyfriend living far away, I opened up some Kinder Surprises, stuck fotomat pics of myself where the toys should be, sealed them back up and mailed them off. I think it remains the most creative gift I've ever given.

Miss BA - what a clever and inventive idea! I love that. Doc and I thought that was so cool.

Although my kids love those little toys inside. And the chocolate is pretty good, too.
