Screen width

Post by Otis Westinghouse »

This site is fanTAZtic, but the lovely 5 LP covers up above seem to be stretching the screen to impossibly wide, making reading reading messages, the index, etc., a real chore (on my Mac, at least). Could we just have two of them (on a rotating basis, perhaps)? Thank you kindly.

Same here. I don't like stretchy things. Mayby one "LP Of The Week" in the corner would suffice? Ta Taz.

Strange -- I don't see these LP covers, nor do I have the stretchiness problem. In the upper L corner is a PhPbb logo.

Also on a Mac.

For me, it make my screen all long 'n' stuff.
It nearly took a mircacle to get you to stay
It only took my little finger to blow you away.

I just changed it for now, I will create and animated gif so it will cycle through a few different ones, in the meantime I just changed it to two covers so it is not so stretched, let me know if this is still too wide.

Sorry about that everybody...I had a moment of attempted artistry without thinking of the consequences. Are the two up there still causing a width issue?

Again, my bad...
A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. Do you think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fuckin' cross? It's kind of like going up to Jackie Onassis with a rifle pendant on.

That's better. Thanks tux and Taz. Just one more petty grumble from me -- all times are GMT (21:15 now) but the clock thingy is one hour slow. Nobody else has probably noticed but it gets to the manic obsessive in me.

Pet,

Have you forgotten that here in blighty we're currently on British Summer Time (GMT + 1 hour)? The clock here seems to work better for me than the previous board which seemed to throw the time out by half an hour.

AND, -- seems the appropriate moment to mention it -- another thing that keeps happening is, when going to post it prompts you (me, at least) to log in again. Just what kind of a site are you running here, Taz? :)
