Where's Hungup?

Post by Otis Westinghouse »

Where's he gone? Seems to be the main casualty (in terms of frequent and quality posting) of the transition from Narbawlz to here. Surely he knows where to find us. Maybe he decided it was tome to break the habit and went for hypnotism therapy.

Otis: I missed him too, so I pm'd him right after this new site started up. He emailed me back a few days later saying that he was just hoping not to move sites yet again. I think he may have been waiting on the other site to clear up. I don't have his personal email, unfortunately, for I miss his posts also.

I wish I knew more.

I feel like shit. We had words before the last board crashed,,,although we made up afterwards. Hope he's ok.

Yep, it's me. Thanks for your kind words, folks, for your concern and for noticing my absence. I was indeed hoping the Narby board would get fixed, and then I just decided to take a wee break.

But I saw The Man twice, I'm looking forward to the next set of Rhinos and a new album, and I'm in an EC kind of mood once more. It may take me a little time to start posting, since I do need to catch up, but soon you'll be wondering, "What's he nattering on about now?"

PS Jackson, please don't waste any time or energy on our little dustup. It was never a big deal, and we're way past it.

You do seem different now you've been deImPeRiAlised.

Great to have you back. As you can see, you were genuinely missed.

Which gigs did you see?

is that a tear in your eye?

Thanks folks! I missed you lot as well. Every once in a while it's nice to test out the old adage, "How can I miss you if you won't go away?"

Otis, I saw the Summerstage show in Central Park and the one at FleetPavillion in Boston, on consecutive days. I was supposed to see Tom Tom Club that same week, but the show got postponed until September.

You never know, I could always go all ImPeRiAl again.

Shame you didn't meet up any of the boardheads who were at Boston. Maybe you were in the next seat along?
