SweetPear - You're mixing up issues.

The fact that
tax paying citizens who are too poor to afford medical care, who have to work two and three jobs to make ends meet
has nothing to do with the amount of money being spent on prisons. It doesn't make it right, but they're two different issues.

Rope - Ents are from Lord of the Rings. Treebeard (Fangorn for short) Treebeard is an Ent. Ents are the most uniquely Tolkienian beings in The Lord of the Rings or for that matter anywhere in Tolkien's work; perhaps even more uniquely Tolkienian than Hobbits. Treebeard looks like a tree, moves like ...

No. I think it is cut and dried. Sweat Pear - your counter argument seems to based around money. Very pooer argument imo, if we used this as the basis then: 1. We woudn't have skools 2. No freeways 3. say goodbye sewer systems 4. Bury your own rubbish 5. Billions wouldn't be spent on the space progr...

Arl - I can't argue with any of that, it's just common sense. What is so great about democracy? When the biggest selling papers are the crap tabloids, the biggest selling books are trash paperbacks, the most popular tv programmes are 'reality' shows for exhibitionists, the blockbuster movies are for...

His voice does change from album to album and from track to track, however it is always distinctive. This seems to be something that draws me to singers (Waits, Dylan, MacGowan, Bjork etc.).

SweetPear,

Just to clarify, do you mean When I Was Cruel no.2, or the Cruel Smile version?

I may run the least favourite poll after this one is finished.
