Ah, the dreaded songfic. Spuffy songfic, even.

This one time, someone asked me to write a fic about Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. I never back down from dares :)
It wound up titled "Glitter and Dirt", from "Spooky Girlfriend".

I suppose this is TMI.

Technically, no. Sort of in the same way that "North" is not a North track. I suppose it's like deleted scenes in movies. Are they still canon? I say no.

nah, it's not lyrical. it's about decay and death, would snappy rhythm and flow be appropriate?

also, hey, a fellow lj-er. and i see you like saetia. they were pretty good, but off minor are better. hot cross are lame, it's a pity they're the band everyone's latched onto.

It's very early-90s San Diego punk. And by that I mean it's utterly confusing, but intriguing.

Sigh.

Rightnowatthisverysecond it's "Progress" by Mission of Burma. On heavy rotation is Famous in Vegas - Peace on Earth (local band, punk and roll, they do an awesome cover of "I Wanna Be Your Dog" live, and the lead singer saw my Elvis patch and started up a conversation - way cool)...

Er, not everyone knows about the days thing. I don't download albums (I do download top 40 singles and out-of-print stuff, though), and I didn't know about the Tuesdays. That's pretty arcane information.

I still say he should do an album with Dj Spooky, first single featuring Sage Francis. His flow is pretty melodic, so it'd fit. Have I mentioned lately how much I love Sage Francis? "Runaways" makes me want to cry.
