Re: T-Bone / Dylan project: Lost On The River

You might be right. But it's also possible the Costello versions of the tracks you mention are simply being held over for Volume Two. Could be! The Wikipedia contributor claims to have received the writing credits directly from the record company. He/she is also very insistent that "The New Ba...

Re: T-Bone / Dylan project: Lost On The River

The Lost on the River Wikipedia article includes song-by-song writing credits, but I suspect they may be fake, because no source is given and Taylor Goldsmith is credited with writing "Florida Key" and "Diamond Ring," which have been credited to EC in other reports. You might be...

Re: T-Bone / Dylan project: Lost On The River

Also intriguing are the three separate (but seemingly related) titles: "Kansas City," "Liberty Street," & "Six Months in Kansas City (Liberty Street)." Wonder if the first two only existed as lyrical fragments that were then finished by The Group (as we heard about ...

Re: T-Bone / Dylan project: Lost On The River

The title "Married To My Hack" baffled & intrigued me, so I looked up the definition of "hack." The word has even more meanings than I had anticipated, but few of them made much sense in this context (then again, this is Dylan so you can't always take things too literally). B...

Because, after the pre-release hype, 11 tracks would be a monumental disappointment.

Re: T-Bone / Dylan project: Lost On The River

So they are going to release a Volume 1 with only 11 songs, this means only two (and maybe three) EC/BD songs. This is a little disappointing. That is disappointing, but I like that they're calling it Volume 1. OR there could be a "deluxe edition" with a more expansive track listing. But ...

It'd be real nice to catch up with you some time. At the very least, if you ever attend a Minnesota show, please let me know in advance!

I'm inferring from the tweets he left the stage after "Accidents" and began anew with "Watch Your Step"-- is that right? I know in the past when there have been snafus, it was often "Accidents" he would come back with. No wonder he didn't even attempt "Either Side ...
