It's the missing of the point that makes me laugh.. There are very few Elvis Songs that I dislike. Given that I have been buying his records for 25 years, I think that this is truly amazing. Hence, i am not saying that one song is better than another. I am saying that an album as a piece of ar...

Clearly the next Poll question should be 'What colour is EC's Shit?'

On the basis of this thread, 'white as the driven snow would be the clear winner'

ok....I am undoubtedly jealous. However, I shall put my head on the block: Henry is brilliant in the Premiership when he's up against Portsmouth or Middlesboro.... I would go as far as to say he is the greatest premiership player ever... However, he's a little like Cantona for me...big fish...small ...

Doofster is just speaking clinically, I'm sure. It is typically for males to awaken immediately after their final REM (Rapid Eye Movement) period of the night. REM is the sleep stage in which we dream...some of us dream more lucidly than others. Anyway, a chracteristic of this stage of sleep in mal...

Like John, I recall feeling disappointed by B&C and I have never shared the view that it is a masterpiece. I don't put it on that often and I agree that side 2 is better than side 1. I've said it before and I'll say it again - TOKYO STORM WARNING IS TOO LONG!!! (Elvis needs a decent editor somet...

I'm glad to hear that you intend to get KoA.... :D

However, it lives on the other end of the universe to B&C, so please keep an open mind

I really can't stand Brutal Youth. It is poorly produced, the songs are weak and Elvis has sung much better on subsequent albums

KoA certainly does not sound dated. IMHO it probably sounds less dated than anyother EC album for all the reasons Pophead and Miggd mention. I also disagree with Cbartal (which is a rarity). B&C did not mark the end of a golden age for Elvis............KoA did. Its a matter of opinion but I feel...

I salute you in return for your genorosity , but have great difficulty selecting other people because there are so many i admire. The Foyles are ...
